Hi - This has been going on since roughly 2.40, but getting more annoying. I know it's something I can fix - just don't know how.
Seamonkey is getting forgetful. For example, it doesn't remember that I'm logged into various website (like Amazon ALWAYS wants my credentials, and various other sites, where I previously said "this is a trusted computer" wants me to re-authenticate every time). My web mail client, which I'm told that, through cookies, should know how I set things up (sort order, etc) from my prior visit, also don't remember everything. I don't stay logged into even non-secure websites. I have Cookies set to default permissions, or on some sites giving me problems "Always allow cookies from this site", but to no avail.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
/j

Using Private browsing?
Possible that a cookie is corrupted. Delete, log back in, set settings... see if it sticks?
Using a "cleaner", external or with the browser or clearing on exit?
Try a new clean Profile & see if that Profile works as expected?

Re: Seamonkey forgets cookie-based config info, how to fix?
I had a problem staying logged in on eBay I have to set Default Cookie Permissions to
"Allow Cookies from Originating Website Only (No Third Party Cookies Allowed).
AND "Accept Cookies Normally".
Setting Cookies For eBay to "Allow Cookies From This Website" was NOT sufficient.

I'm set to "Allow All Cookies" and "Accept Cookies Normally"
This is on 3 different machines (2 WIN7, one WIN 10). all with latest SeaMonkey
