Copy bookmarks
How do I copy my bookmarks from one computer to another? Thanks. I have version 2.49.1 SeaMonkey on Windows 7.

- You might copy the places.sqlite file (history & bookmarks) from SeaMonkey profile folder.

Cheers!

Re: Copy bookmarks
You can copy the file places.sqlite from one computer to the other.
Also, in SeaMonkey you can use menu path Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks->Tools->Export HTML. The file produced can then be loaded into the SeaMonkey profile on the second computer using menu path Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks->Tools->Import HTML.

Re: Copy bookmarks
The only problem about copying the places.sqlite file and pasting it in the other computer which I did, it replaced all the bookmarks I had it there. Is there a way to add rather than replace the bookmarks? Thanks.

Re: Copy bookmarks
You can set browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML to true and import the resulting html file. But this adds everything and not just any nonexiting items. There should also be a json backup in your profile which you can import.

Re: Copy bookmarks
Bookmarks saved as .json will replace bookmarks. If they are saved as .html, they will append.
