Seamonkey Calendar & iCloud / Google Calendar [FIXED]
Following this guide;
https://askubuntu.com/questions/911567/ ... d-calendar
I have extrapolated my DISD etc and have all of the following info;
https://pXX-caldav.icloud.com/<DSid>/calendars/<pGUID>
When I go to Publish it asks for username for which I enter my iCloud username then the app specific password which results in;
Publishing the calendar file failed.
Status code: 409: Conflict
Anyone got this working?
Tia!

Re: Seamonkey Calendar & iCloud Calendar Publishing
To be honest even my Google calendar would do
I can get it to load up events but it shows a padlock and new events can't be uploaded from Seamonkey

Re: Seamonkey Calendar & iCloud Calendar Publishing
Or even suggestions for any 3rd party calendar service [free=better] that will sync with Seamonkey and iPhone?

A padlock means the calendar is Read Only.
Maybe you can change it in Properties.
Right-click on the Calendar in the Calendar List.
Select Properties.
If it isn't disabled remove the check mark for Read Only.

Re: Seamonkey Calendar & iCloud Calendar Publishing
Tried that and it results in a 'Cant Modify' type message.
Also tried making calendar public, adding shared status etc to no avail...

Re: Seamonkey Calendar & iCloud Calendar Publishing
Yeeha!!! Thanks a mill - that worked. Had to turn on 2FA in Google Account settings then generate an App Password.
Now I'm a happy bunny!
Is it possible to keep the Calendar and Tasks Tabs open each time you start Seamonkey?

OK so 'Tasks' aren't working for Google calendar - its a minor thing but anyone else got this working?
Says in header 'Please select a calendar that supports tasks' - My Google cal is selected but nothing shows up...

Looks like Tasks aren't supported... I've created a 'Local' calendar for local tasks only...

As an aside I now have sync with iCloud using the CalDAV option with app password however this also does not support tasks.
As I hardly ever bother with iCloud I'll stick to Google Calendar.
