More space for text on toolbar

You don't get a tool tip if the text is longer and you hover the mouse pointer over it?

Yes, I see the longer text if I hover. But I would like to see it directly.

Seems like some setting in userchrome.css would do it ?

Do it in about:config.

You are really missing the point here.

The arrowed text. in the OP image, is cut off after 7 characters, yet the bookmark text to the left of it is not cut off, despite having 11 characters.

Plus, the cut off text there does not have ellipsis .... after it and even if it did, ellipsis on bookmark items in SeaMonkey doesn't come into play until around 22 characters. Ergo, the problem is not to do with character length.

This OP needs to check for squeezed items on the toolbar (unlikely), bizarre userChrome.css entries (test with SafeMode) or check that bookmark's Name under Properties for already being deliberately shortened, either by site or OP (most likely scenario)
