If you have followed the irc soap opera freenode vs. its users you should know that we are for some time now also on

ircs://libera.chat/SeaMonkey

We planned to officially move a bit later but Freenode did some changes today and purged all registered nicks. At this point in time we are no longer interested in having a presence there. The website will be changed soon to reflect this.

2.53.8b1 has full support for libera.chat in cZ and you should just use it. There were no problems reported against it and the final version will be spun soon.
