Okay, I just now tried to log in using my phone and mobile data, and after I launched the site and entered my login info, I was informed that I was banned.

This is just bizarre.

Will someone please provide me Frank Lion's contact info (he's not responding to PM hereJ)?

Or otherwise provide him my email address -- full name with no dots or spaces preceding gmail.

Thanks.

This is just one reason I was opposed to that platform. It is very, very poorly run.

Others of us set up stand alone sites, but ended up taking them down when this site continued.

Apparently it is the only alternative at this point (and hopefully it will never be needed).

I would at least like to have access.

It would seem that the problem has been fixed. I am not banned any more.

I'm still banned when launching the site (before login attempt).

I might not mind putting a site back up if there would be traffic.

We definitely need a viable alternative in the unlikely event this one has difficulties for some reason.

I still get "You have been banned from this forum." on a blank page with no options to proceed.

Frank, for some reason, is incommunicado...much to my surprise (and disappointment).

If you're willing to use SMF forum, I can install that easily enough. phpBB (like this one) is a bit more of an issue.

Frank has posted here recently, but we have clashed harshly.

It's there, but extremely basic;

I'm not putting much effort into it yet until I see if legitimate members sign up. If the spammers and bots hit it first ... well ....

Everything looks as it should at my end and no one else seems to be having this problem and the logs show other members visiting the site, from time to time.

Bear in mind, that this is a fallback forum that is needed only as gathering point if/when MozZ closes without warning and as such only has SM Release notices being posted there at the moment and guests can also view those. i.e. does it really merit a TWO page thread on this stuff?
