Can't download!

My install of 1.2b (build 2002101612) can't download. An error message reads "c:\windows\temp\ ewxvemny.zip can not be saved because the source file could not be read. Try again or contact the server administator" It has worked fine for weeks until now. Also, I now can't send mail. The mail program locks and I have to ctr alt del.

Can this be fixed or should I just uninstall and re-install?

This issue is listed as a bug and was resolved by deleting compreg.dat
