Hi all,
I've been using TB for years now. I've also been using Spark on my iphone for the past couple years, and have found it's automatic categorization of emails invaluable. It splits messages categorized as "notifications", "newsletters", "pins", and "read" apart from what end up being the important "Personal" messages. Are there any facilites or addons in TB to enable this automatic categorization? I've just come back to my email after a few days out of the office, and sifting through the chaff is cumbersome...
Thanks!
Allie

There's nothing automatic built into Thunderbird for that. You can set up message filters to address the categorization of user defined types of messages: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Filters_%28Thunderbird%29
There are extensions to make such filter definition easier but nothing that would totally automate the process -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... d-filters/
