Multi Contact editor

Searched but couldn't find. I'd like to be able to select several contacts at once in the Address Book view ... as you can at present. But then either one of the following (in order of preference):
[list=][*]Edit any one of the displayed columns directly by using the Tab or Shift/Tab to move right/left and simply typing the new value. This should then update all selected contacts with the same.
[*]Have an Edit Card dialog which allows editing multiple contacts at once. Maybe using a check-box next to each field to be edited (or not).[/list]
