I would like to know if someone is working on a sieve extension
for Thunderbird.
It is the only tool/thing I am missing in Thunderbird. At the moment
I have to use an external web based tool for managing the sieve
scripts, but that is not a convenient way to do it.
best regards
Andreas

Re: Sieve extension for Thunderbird ??
Yes Sieve is and remains the stepchild of Mozilla. There was an app from Thomas Schmid, and it worked great until version 0.3.1, when Mozilla went crazy and threw out all apps that worked well without consideration for the users, then Thomas made a so-called "standalone" version that is not compatible with postfix and encrypted authentication. Since then I use Claws-Mail or telnet when I need to customize the Sieve Script. It's a shame and a disgrace for Mozilla.
I prefer communication via xmpp xmpp:c@zp1.net
