I am a new Thunderbird user. Each time I open a new email to compose, or answer an email, I have to reset all the preferences
For instance for size I like x-large font. I looked in Thunderbird preferences, and there it is set for x-large. But each time it shows up as medium size which is tiny and I have to manually change it to x-large. Likewise, I like my typing lines in the email to be justified, and I have to click that each time I start a new email or replay too an email. My question is, is there some way to keep the settings I prefer permanent so I do not have to reset everything each time I write or reply to an email? THANIKS FOR ANY
SUGGESTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS ALSO, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LOOK UP HOW I CAN CHECK BACK ON THIS WEVSITE TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANSWERED MY QUESTION,
How can I keep setting same without resetting each email?

Re: How can I keep setting same without resetting each email
See this article for information on setting the fonts in Thunderbird - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Font_settings_in_Thunderbird
Also see this article, although I'm not sure that just setting justification will work using a Template -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Message_templates
You can set the preferences here on the forums to send you an email when someone replies to a thread you created or to which you are subscribed. Click on the User Control Panel link at the right of this page, then on the "Board Preferences" tab->then on the "Edit Posting Defaults" tab on the left side of the panel. Make sure that "Notify me upon replies by default".
