Hi all,
I like and am a frequent user of Thunderbird's quick filter bar that can be displayed (toggled) on top of the list of messages in the main window -- it allows among others a handy filtering by text on sender/ receiver / subject / body.
I am however quite annoyed that pressing the ESC key is acting like asking to hide this toolbar.
Even *worse* : if I right click on a message in the list and get the contextual menu then press ESC this would first of all hide the quick filter toolbar and pressing ESC again would close that contextual menu (!!).
To get the toolbar back I (often) need to click on the quick filter button (which I located on another toolbar) or pressing the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+K.
Can this "hiding with ESC" behaviour be neutralised somehow so that the toolbar remains visible all the time ?
Thanks for your support and feedback !

Thank you so much morat !
Via the keyconfig add-on I have set the parameter/event "key_qfb_escape" to <Disabled> state and... voilà, no longer annoyed by ESC toggling quick find toolbar !
