Google has made changes in the security of Gmail. When I try to login to my account I get the failed login message, even though it is the correct password. upon checking the Google help system I find the following information:
The Mail app on your iPhone or iPad with iOS 6 or below
The Mail app on your Windows phone preceding the 8.1 release
Some Desktop mail clients like Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird
I don't want to be forced into using webmail but I also am concerned about security.
Is an update to allow secure access coming for Thunderbird?
