Hello,
looking for some solution...
I want to integrate my android phone with email/pim.
The easy part is: all messages and call logs go to my imap account. Looking for setup it two-way - there are some apps... nevermind.
The hard thing: how to setup calls?
I see it something like that:
Thunderbird as a frontend (buttons, links in addressbook, anything, details are not important on this stage) <-> simple voip server (simple, because it must be set up on my home debian server) <-> VOIP2GSM (I saw hardware gateways, looking for android soft <->GSM network.
I didnt find a complex solution, so i will try to make it from some bricks.
So: do you have an idea for the first point - hot to make thunderbird a voip client?

Re: TB as VOIP client
Take a look at TbDialout as a starting point.
