p=p, the promise of easy email encryption should be a priority of Thunderbird developers. Considering all the hacks of just about everybody out there, don't you believe that Thunderbird developers should actively pursue making p=p work NOW in Windows?

Enigmail, as it is currently configured, is just about as clumsy as Pretty Good Privacy has been been since its inception, so many moons ago. It is time to make Thunderbird and email security easy or just accept the fact that the surveillance state has the right and the ability to monitor every darn thing you do. Your choice.

Moving to Thunderbird Features as there is no support question here.

p=p is indeed desirable. But it's development is currently in the hands of p=p hired developers, not Thunderbird. When the p=p code becomes ready, that will be the time for Thunderbird folks to be involved.

Yup. However, there seems to be little work since the end of 2015 by those p=p developers. Just saying.
