I need to know where in a normal windows7 setup the profile files reside. My computer crashed. Data survived and has been transferred to a new computer. But my profile, containing all my POP mail files apparently got left behind. I have the old hard drive and my techies will help me look for it, so it would be helpful to get an exact path address.
Then, if I find it, I will have to know where in my new computer (Win 10) to put it so that a new download of Thunderbird will find and use it.
TIA

Re: location of profiles
Thanks. That was just what I needed. Now I'm going to folo that link about moving profiles. I assume that I cannot just copy the profiles folder, if found, into the roaming folder on my new machine. Could it be that simple?
