Issues With Thunderbird 78.3.2

Post by JamesJoey »

What's with Thunderbird??

Just installed it and I'm unable to customize the message toolbar above the message body.
I tried customizing the mail toolbar and I dropped a command and it magically disappeared.
This is the second time I installed it.

Any ideas??

What customization are you trying to implement? Are you using native elements or trying to add or move elements from extensions?

O add ons.
I was simply trying to customize the toolbar. Not sure what this particular toolbar is referred to as. In a vertical layout it's the toolbar above the message body on the right.
Also, while customizing the main toolbar i dragged a command up and dropped it bu is vanished from the toolbar and the available commands.
I know you're going to need a screen shot, right?

Are you talking about the message header toolbar?

Must say I installed it for a thirds time after I restored a disk image, so the system was clean.
The same thing happens.
I tried to drag and drop the 'reply' button to the Mail Toolbar. After dropping it it vanishes from the 'Customize Toolbar' and nowhere to be found in the toolbar.

Also, in the upper right corner there are 2 buttons for a calendar but a calendar add-on doesn't exist.

You might find this reply helpful if you want to remove the buttons.

The calendar is now built into Thunderbird.
