Auto delete prompt

Post by oldpopsie »

I assume it is intended to be a feature, but I find it annoying that whenever I try to move an email to the trash, I get a pop-up telling me that all of my trash items can be auto deleted, and I have to click on one of two buttons to either accept the auto-delete or cancel it.
Is there any way to get rid of this?

What version of Thunderbird?
Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

78.11.0 (64 bit)
I haven't tried the safe mode, but will do that and post a reply.
I have a screen shot of the pop-up as a jpeg, but don't know how to post it here for you to see.

Does this thread (https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/ml/questions/1317882) on the Mozilla Support site help at all?
