command line option -offline

Post by Lost User 293329 »

Hi,

there was an option to start
"thunderbird -offline"
that would avoid some message boxes and clicks, when knowing *I am* offline.

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Command_line_arguments does not list that feature anymore, but before 2.0 versions it worked, as
"firefox -offline"
still does.

So I'm the only one who would be pleased to have it?

cheers,
sb

It still works in Thunderbird 2. Set the preference offline.startup_state to 4, otherwise the preference setting overrides the command line.
