Feature request: new windows with selected content

It already happened to me quite often that in Mozilla I was reading some newsgroup with lots of traffic, when a new mail arrived that I wanted to read first. But switching to my mail folder results in all "new" flags to get lost in the news group, which is very annoying.

Opening a new mail/news window doesn't really help, as the new window is completely similar to the old one, resulting only in confusion.

It would be very nice if it was possible to (multiply) select e.g. some news hosts in the tree on the left, right click this selection and then have a "Open selection in new window" entry in the context menu.
