Thunderbird filelink fails to link to DropBox or any other cloud storage. I have reinstalled the add-on twice. I have reinstalled Thunderbird. I have verified the DropBox username and password twice, I have attempted to reconfigure the email attachment settings three times with no luck.
When I attempt to set up the DropBox account in my preference settings, a dialog box opens up, allows me to select DropBox and requests that I register it. I enter the correct username and password, press the register register button (which appears to be inactive) and nothing happens - ever. That's the end of the show until I cancel out and restart Thunderbird.

Try another storage service such as Box. Supposedly support for it is built-in, unlike the other storage services which require a dedicated add-on.

No good, Box.com is also broken (in fact, that was the one I had tried first). Tested with hubiC as well, same failure. Cannot even configure the Dropbox plugin, the registration screen does not let you submit the email/password.

I found https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Thunderb ... 457#M51356 which stated that they had to add an exception to allow cookies for box.com for it to work. I suggest you try adding exceptions for the various filelink services.
