Hello, I just manually updated from v59 to 60.2.1 and this started happening. When I select all files in a email to drag them to a Finder window, the files are saved along with 3 more copies of them. So 4 identical files are saved in Finder folder (the amount of copies differ).

If I select only one file from the attachment list and drag it to Finder, all is normal, only 1 file.

To add more info, using imap via gmail for business (custom @mymail.com).
This did not happen with 52.9.1. Only after manually updating to 60.2.1.

Moved from Thunderbird Bugs to Thunderbird Support as you are not discussing a known bug.

Does this occur if you use safe mode (help -> restart with add-ons disabled)? I'm wondering if some add-on caused this because it didn't fully support version 60, which has broken many add-ons due to API changes.

Is there a similar problem if you drag three files to the attachment pane (i.e. creates 9 attachments)?

Hi, yes, drag 2 or more files result in multiple copies.
Found this active bug just now, didn't find it when I first posted https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1494588

Unfortunately I suspect it will be a good while until its fixed due to the lack of a feature in that cross reference tool (DXR) to make it easy to compare the differences between different versions.
