Thunderbird acts weird when clicking on news/snews links...

Post by tve »

(XP Pro)

thats what the "open" command for the URL:News Protocol and the URL:Snews Protocol looks like:

C:\Programme\Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe -news %1

now when I click on a news or snews link in Firebird, Thunderbird pops up a dialog, asking me "do you want to subscribe to this newsgroup?"... when I click OK, Thunderbird opens 1) a 2nd window, 2) the account manager AND 3) another very mysterious empty window 0_o

is it just broken or am I doing something wrong?

would be nice if there would be an option in the Options panel to set TB as default news client, too. :)
