Differing views for Mail and News accounts unavailable?

I used to have different views for my mail and news accounts, e.g., "All" for mail accounts and "Unread" for news accounts.

This no longer appears to work, and a single view is applied whichever account I am viewing.

May 15 build, Win98SE (although I think this was introduced in the May 8 build)
