Hello,
I am having a reoccurring issue where whenever junk mail comes in TB freezes for about a minute. Not sure how to solve this issue. I am using imap private server.
Any thoughts?

What folder is set to store the Junk mail, a folder on the local machine or on the server?
Have you tried compacting the Junk folder?

I have tried both local and server and unfortunately I have been getting the same results. I only have 30 junk emails in my junk folder right now. I have not tried compacting it.
