Re: Thunderbird has inherited a firefox ailment
Moving to Thunderbird Support.
You'll need to provide more information if you want folks to help you.
* How is that mail account set up, as POP or IMAP?
* What version of Thunderbird?
* Are you using an antivirus and/or a firewall program? Which one(s)?
* Do you regularly compact your folders? Check http://kb.mozillazine.org/Compacting_folders for more information on compacting folders.
* Any recent changes in your computer or software configuration that might be relevant?
(including OS or Thunderbird updates, adding extensions or themes, etc. and any security program updates)
Oh, and that "ailment" is usually only seen in Firefox when there is a problem with profile data, not with the program itself, so it's not a bug issue.
