Since about 2 updates ago, this has been sporadically happening, and I cannot make it happen.
When reviewing my incoming mail, and I place my cursor anywhere in the mail body, whether I click on anything or not, then move my cursor up towards the next unread mail, the mail item I was going to disappears as I cross the horizontal divide.
It goes to Trash. I did not trash it.
It only seems to happen once or twice per session, and I cannot make it happen. It doesn't happen on the first or any specific number of mails I read, just random.
Any ideas??
Mail gets trashed when I move my cursor up.

How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

It might not, but with an IMAP account the messages are stored on the server and there may be different factors at play than with a POP type account.
Do you have a different mouse that you can test with, even though this may be an intermittent issue and not easily triggered intentionally?
