Hi, Thunderbird version: 52.5.2 (32 bits), release
System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits
Mail account: gmail, IMAP
Scenario
I have created some folders in gmail - using Thunderbird. They are visible in Thunderbird and in GMail.
I have created a filter for example:
when sender contains "@server.com", move message to specified folder
Expected result
================
When I get message from @server.com, this message should be moved to specified folder and all the attachements should work
Actual result
================
When I get message from @server.com, this message is moved to specified folder, but after clicking on attachment I get an error: "This attachment looks like empty. Please contact the sender"
No attachment after filter

Re: No attachment after filter
Have you checked the message on the Gmail webmail page to see if the attachment is present there?
Where is the "specified folder" located, on the server or on the local computer?

Re: No attachment after filter
Folders are located on the server. I haven't checked yet if attachments are available using web mail. But I noticed that when I first open the attachment in my main folder (in TB) and then move the message to other folder, everything works. But when filter moves the message to another folder (without opening the attachment first) then this error occurs.

Re: No attachment after filter
That would not be normal functionality with Thunderbird. Have you checked with your email provider to see if something on the server side is stripping out the attachments?

Everything works fine on the server side. The problem is only in Thunderbird.
