In Firefox or Mozilla how do I turn off or delete the flash plugin?
I purposely run 2 versions of these browsers, 1 with flash, 1 without.
The obvious reason is to block out all the flash ads.
Somehow the flash plugin got installed on Mozilla 1.7.12 & I don't want
to uninstall-reinstall because my mail is also on it.
thanx.

a good idea is to install the extention "flashblock" i use it all the time, it replaces flash with a play button so you can choose to play it or not, (usefull if you hate ads but like youtube :) ). Anyway if your looking to block ads, i would recommend customizegoogle (removes google ads) and adblock plus (and install filterset.G). Just google those and it will change the way you look at the net forever.
