To get activex to work with things other than Windows Media, find the file activex.js in your NS installation (I think its in defaults/prefs). Then make it look more like <a href="http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/embedding/browser/activex/src/plugin/activex.js">this</a>.
