Bugzilla search and spam questions

Post by Neville »

Is there a Bugzilla support forum for users?

My questions are:

1 - I have tried various Buzilla search facilities and cannot find an equivalent of 'View your posts'. The best I can find is:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cg ... =substring

At the time of writing this finds 19 posts. It takes a long time. Is there a better faster way of finding at least 19 of my posts?

2 - Despite many attempts to stop email harvesting one only has to create a Bugzilla account to gain access to thousands of email addresses. Are there plans to stop this and if so when will they be implemented? Bugzilla 3.6.1 still has semi-public email addresses.

Support options for bugzilla: http://www.bugzilla.org/support/ The Google group is most likely the best option.

My difficulty is that I am an end user and it says:

"The options described here are for installation, administration, and customization support for Bugzilla server software. If you are an end-user of a Bugzilla, please consult the support options made available by that Bugzilla's owner. Support for other Mozilla products (such as Firefox or Thunderbird), can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/support/.

They also appear to make it difficult to report bugs in Bugzilla. Do you know how to do this? I could report both of these as bugs in Bugzilla 3.6.1.

I would prefer not to open a Google account.

I can no longer access https://bugzilla.mozilla.org via my normally very fast University proxy server. It times out. Is there a Bugzilla server problem?

Bugs in Bugzilla should be reported to Bugzilla :) Click on Browse --> Other Products and you will see Bugzilla listed. However, it would be a better idea to start your questions here unless you are dealing with a non-Mozilla installation of Bugzilla in which case you should talk to your Bugzilla admin.

I think I have just set a record for typing the word bugzilla... :)

Hi ,
I have been using Bugzilla since 2 years.. But one thing is I could not find it.

Issue is : In our Bugzilla, any user can close or resolve the bug.

But my scenario is only testing team only able to Close or Resolve the Bug.

If anybody find it , Please let me know
