Any calendar news?

Visited http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/ I found there isn't so many information on the bird. Could any inside-man be so kind to bring us some newest news or secrets? Roadmap or development stage?

I've tried the 1.5a. Though it is not act as an standalone app like firebird or thunderbird I am still interesting on the future of sunbird( is this the right name for calendar? ). Yes, we've gotten firebird for browsing and thunderbird for email, now we need a schedule program. Good luck sunbird

Check the calendar newsgroups on news.mozilla.org for continual discussion.

I don't have the newsgroup name onhand, but the group is very active with people saying "How's it going" and "It's not because there's no developers"

But I found netscape.public.mozilla.calendar.checkins is full of terrible spams. Any other newsgroup I ignored ?
