Most of those already exist and the rest I have no idea what you are talking about (mark what unread? what repositories?).

Basically the same and even more useless than the already pretty useless 5-star rating system.

Sort by: Top Rated. I believe Ratings rankings are weighed by the actual NUMBER of stars, which is generally a good indicator of the number of users.
