i use instantbird with a xmpp server works great BUT when i double click a user in a multi chat it open a different tab and when i click a user in the budy list also a different tab, please look at the screenshot. why is this?

This really isn't a great place to get instantbird support. They do, however have an IRC channel. See http://instantbird.com/about.html
