Postbox - creating folders offline

I am using Postbox 3.0.8. I usually clean out my email when I am offline (either flying or in a coffee shop with internet turned off to be able to concentrate). However, I can't create a new folder when I am offline. This is the only email client I have ever worked with that had that limitation. Am I missing something? Any suggestions?
