Bugzilla email address - how to change?

Post by unbob »

I have spent what seems like hours looking for a way to change my bugzilla email address.

Yes, I've looked at the 'Account', 'General Preferences and 'Email Preferences' pages - to no avail.

Can someone give me a clue or specific directions on "how-to" ??

TIA, Rob

Hi,
I'm not up on all the prefs/options etc, coz I've never used Bugzilla, but have you checked the "Account Information" section?

Correct. There is no "New Email Address' field! So how do I change it?

Yes, I did that. As instructed, I first entered my password and hit enter - it was accepted A-OK - but still there was no "New email address" field displayed on the page. ????

Odd!
Clear cache/cookies and try Fx Safe Mode?
Are you using a dark user style on Bugzilla ?

@FWIW, also WFM with third party cookies completely blocked.

People here think you are referring to say https://bugzilla.mozilla.org and not one of many other places that uses installations of the Bugzilla general issue tracker software.

I get the box where you can enter a new email address on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi

Yes, I am referring to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org

I did however think that bugzilla was a Mozilla web site - which is why I posted on this forum.

So I now understand this is not a Mozilla problem. Thanks for enlightening me!
