Thank god they use pine and pico for email and text editing or else no one would be able to do any work.
Has anyone else had experience with dummy terminals? Are they supposed to be that slow? I always thought that the sun machines were fast.

Sun is slow
I started a new class at school today and they stuck us in a lab of Sun computers (My first time using a sun). I was looking around the machines to see what they had and the web browser they use is Netscape 6. Now I know netscape 6 was slow, but this was really slow. Imagine about 25 dummy terminals with one server running all of the software. Now imagine 25 people logging in and loading up the web browser at the start of class... 10 minutes later...
