Galeon, Mozilla, and PSM

I'm having trouble getting Galeon to use PSM successfully with the 1.3.x builds. I compiled Mozilla from source and then read that make install seems to break PSM (among other things) for Mozilla, and that it's recommended to run dist/bin/mozilla. So I created a symlink to dist/bin/mozilla and got Mozilla 1.3 working fine with PSM.

Now, though, compiling Galeon against that 1.3 build doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone else had any problems with Galeon not recognizing PSM? Do I actually need to copy dist/lib/* to my standard library path somewhere?
