Have you tried installing it yet? It may just install without a problem.

If not, I believe there's a phone number you can use to reach MS to explain that hardware problems require the second installation and that only one copy will be in use.

Office 2007 is EOL since 2017, why using an outdated and in special vulnerable software?

Probably because it still works and Office is too expensive to upgrade, especially with MS's subscription model .

Yep, still using 2007 here when I MUST use actual MS stuff. I use LibreOffice for everything else.

I MUST use
sometimes there is no choice. but i assume a personal license up there, not a business plan.
so i dont see a MUST use for private use.

on work we also have an MSO2007 computer and its pain in my ass.
i dropped MSO2003 before running out of support because it was bloated and had several issues not solved.
i am using Softmaker Office since 2006 because that time OpenOffice was not capable to use my MSO docs the proper way.
for my needs on the run i can use it portable.
i also can recommend WPS (kingsoft office) when VB-Script is needed.
