I find IOBit's reaction to this thing wholly amusing as they flounder about. I also love how user tests have shown at least a 75% drop in detection rates.
There have always been ghosts in the machine... random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul...

How many ordinary people not in IT read Whois before they install software? C'mon. Cnet has taken it off. http://download.cnet.com/IObit-Security ... =mncol;lst. The comments from Iobit are so inane because they're not even literate. Their staff is NOT totally Chinese-speaking, so they might cobble together some sentences that at least sound intelligent. Reminds me of Charlie Rose's interview with Pres. Ahmadinejad of Iran a few weeks back. Any leader who makes public speeches constantly should at least be articulate in his native language, even if he's spouting hatred. This guy made Bush sound articulate. Nope, the real irony is here -
This would be the same Cnet that never ask permission to host anyone's software products in the first place, would it? Metal Lion - Themes and Extensions for Firefox.
