Using Evolution
what do I use to configure for the server? I am using Open-Exchange Mozilla?

Evolution is not a Mozilla application. Moving to MozillaZine Tech.

Thank you for the correction. Being a newbee I need all the help I can get. Could you tell me specifically what the configuration of the server for open-xchange is.

There should be documentation in the Karmic repositories.
Go to /System/Administration/Software Sources on your desktop menu bar and check all the possibilities for repositories listed there.
Then Open Synaptic and look at the documentation section or perform a "search" for evolution or Open-Exchange.
Make sure you also have the needed support packages for Evolution.
