Thanks Spewey
As noted, all but one of the updates was related mostly to MS Office vulnerabilities.
The CRITICAL one is #37. It is the most serious flaw, in the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) software, and it could allow an attacker to gain control of a vulnerable PC. VBA is used to develop desktop applications that tie into other Microsoft products.

P.S. Testing went well in patching Windows 2000, XP and 2003 Server.

These types of Office exploits & vulnerabilities have been documented in the past. The reason for so many is that it's been a long time since Office has been patched in this manner. If you're update, it's about a 300KB download plus reboot, so it's not too bad and seems to be stable on 2000, XP, and 2003 for me so far.
