was to their free version, which I use.
(Actually, I have the 2012 version.)

Thanks for the reminder! What a complete knucklehead I can be. I completely overlooked that post, and have no good reason, except that I am an OLD knucklehead!
I will take a look at Pargagon PM .

OK, this one can be ignored now. I managed to get the job done the long and hard way with Diskpart after backing up the portion with data, and then muddling through the Diskpart instructions and verbage.

BTW> the MiniTool Partition Wizard Free version won't do a merge nor an extend. So I uninstalled it and went with Diskpart. Sorry, I didn't know about the Pro version free for a short time.

BTW2> I emailed AOMEI, and their free package does not include any adware, malware, nor toolbars. At least that is what I was told.
