I use Firefox 35.0.1. I often use Google search. I checked my Google History where it records every Google search, the search date and hour. Google recorded that the same search was performed over and over. It shows the following two searches almost every day, sometime multiple time each. At least in March, February, and January. Close to 100 times in total.
Searched for: "kaito voyager ka500 manual"
Searched for: "Karen Armstrong Fields of Blood"
I recognize those searches. But I have only made those searches one time each a long time ago. I don't know if the searches are made through Firefox but I seldom use any other browser -- unless they are not from a browser. I am certain that I did not make those searches manually.
What could have produced those searches?
Why would Google History record searches I didn't make?

Those searches do not appear in your Firefox history?

firefox history viewer displays multiple visits to the same url only once (the latest) so it's impossible to self-verify such claims relying only on memory, not to mention it deletes history automatically so you wont even notice it has been deleted.
check your history with norwell history tools addon - it displays your history in sequential- chronological order.

I do not think that is true for HTPPS URLs. Yesterday, I made several groups of identical Google searches, and they are all listed separately, with no indication that I visited the exact same URL several times. Also, Firefox does not delete history unless you tell it to.

This morning the first three items in Google History were searches within one minute of each other.
Two searches for: "kaito voyager ka500 manual"
One search for: "Karen Armstrong Fields of Blood"
In Firefox:
[View sidebar history] shows.
No hits for "Karen Armstrong Fields of Blood" (in quotes.)
One hit for "kaito voyager ka500 manual" (in quotes.)
[Show all history] shows the same results as the View sidebar.

Moving to MozillaZine Tech as this doesn't seem to be an issue specific to Firefox.

I have no clue what is going on there... but if I were you I would do a couple of things...
- Review your installed programs in your Control panel... see if anything has been installed that doesn't look right.
- I'd run this free stuff...
These are FREE ... you install them and just run them from time to time.
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
SuperAntispyware

I suppose a test would also be... when you are finished with your computer make sure all browsers are closed... when you then start to use your system... open only IE and then check for those searches... use only IE for a short time... then check for those searches.... you know... try to isolate at what time/condition this stuff happens.
I think though... that you've got something devious going on in your system.
... and... What Firewall and AV products do you use?
