For my link troubles, I can rule out the ISP I think. I couldn't get a hold of tech support for some reason but I ran a test instead.... I still have access to my old dialup internet and I also reinstalled my old free Netzero one. I tested on both, so that's 3 ISPs that have nothing to do with each other, and I still get the exact same error using all 3 ISPs
