See this for English http: pxc-coding.com/portfolio/donotspy10/

If you want to try this, copy and paste the link above -LN (edited the above to be an inactive link.)

DoNotSpy10 contains the AdWare OpenCandy (according to http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/ ... 74941.html ).

Removed the non-activated link . That post is beginning to look like a salt lick in a sandstorm :).

That said, I got the program from one of my folks. No OpenCandy but that might be because I got the executable rather than the installation.

Everything you do or say is relayed to Microsoft in real time. A list of what's sent can be found here under the heading "(Win10) What is Windows 10 collecting / sending to Microsoft?" (can't link to it directly): https://senk9.wordpress.com/checklists/ ... checklist/

In addition, Windows 10 grabs your bandwidth to send updates to other users: http://thenextweb.com/microsoft/2015/07 ... e-updates/

Free tool to make sure you don't accidentally get Windows 10 when M$ starts the next run to push it through as an Important update. In that respect, with Automatic Updates enabled, "Important" updates are installed automatically without user intervention: http://blog.ultimateoutsider.com/2015/0 ... emove.html

Even though I'm running 8.1, I found this little titbit on my system last night: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Diagnosis\ETLLogs\AutoLogger\AutoLogger-Diagtrack-Listener.etl

I'm surprised at that since I'm ultra careful about what I install and don't have automatic updates enabled.

I find it extremely ironic how users will complain that Microsoft tracks their every move and sends their data to large corporations and companies such as the NSA, yet Google has been doing this for years and many people are aware of it, yet still continue to use Android, Chrome, etc.

Privacy is a reason I prefer to use Firefox, along with the fact although it's copying Chrome it seems to be doing a better job, even Australis is quite nice yet I feel Chrome's UI is somewhat repellent despite them being so similar...

I think almost all companies from google to facebook collect data from your system , I have upgraded to Windows 10 but have turned off almost all of such features that enable the system to collect data, a lot of features like Cortana to me is useless , I don't want Cortana to collect data and tell me do that and do this ...... and also force update, there is a way to get around such default features and yea you need to go deep down to the system settings to do that.

Facebook is in a whole different evil league than the others. I'd rather turn off data collection in Windows 10 than voluntarily give ANY data to Facebook. That company tries to create shadow dossiers on anyone not on Facebook and those that are on Facebook are extensively tracked across the web. If it has any Facebook code, you're identified.

Atleast the others have some kind of working opt-out and Google lets you see most of what they collect. Not Facebook. You're tracked and that's that, no means yes and yes doesn't matter.
