Nope.
Although, I did get it as a Recommended update which I killed.

Can I install all the Get Windows 10 updates now, including 3035583? Or is that a bad idea?

I only installed 3102810 because Windows 7 takes an hour to check for updates without it.
Basically, Never 10 changes a couple of Registry settings that MS has created to allow users of Windows 7 and 8.1 to block the updates. So, you can install all the notorious updates, including that KB3035583 one that installs the GWX update nagger, and you shouldn't get updated to Windows 10 because Windows should respect your Registry settings. Never 10 might need to update your Windows Update to allow for the Registry settings to take effect (I think it's the July 2015 one that introduced these settings), but it'll inform you if it needs to before doing it.

Still, one can't blame the cynic who feels that MS might not honour those Registry settings, even though that'd risk really pissing off corporations, and that most users wouldn't even know about the settings or want to tinker with the Registry. Paranoid me still has KB3035583 and KB2976978 (for Windows 8.1) hidden and I don't have recommended updates installed automatically, despite what I've said above about Never 10.

I just checked out this KB3156417 'May 2016 update rollup for Windows 7'...'optional update', recently offered.
If it's installed how many unwanted non security updates (including hidden) are bundled within .. with no option to say no??

Just a reminder about Steve's video that I mentioned...
Steve commented about that MS issue & said that "there'd be hell to pay, if MS did not honor it's (posted on it's site) registry settings."
Steve just modified/used their code to make it easier for "all" to stop the WIN 10 upgrade.....Nags 'n' all, without having to go into the Registry.

&, once again, I'll say, check your update settings & UN-check the "Recommended" updates.
MS has changed the way that they're trying to get you to upgrade to WIN 10.

@Gort

I'm going to install all the Get Windows 10 updates except 3035583 and see what happens.
