Just because they write all kinds of junk in there doesn't mean it's legally valid. Although an upgrade for "security" reasons just might be, I suppose.Grumpus wrote:Better read the EULA before you call an attorney, they probably have rights to your third Grandchild on your brother Sid's side of the family.

Can't be a security issue if, as mentioned before, advertising to push W10 is included.
There's an arrogance here which is why a lot of people have migrated or are trying other OSs.

Hi y'awll,
Steve has updated Never10 to version 1.3.1.0 because there was a small "bug" that a user found in the previous v1.3.
Nothing really serious but .....
So, go to grc.com & D/L & run the new version.

Way too many people are having issues with MS & WIN 10 & their bullying tactics.
Ought to be more people complaining & taking them to court.

Knowing them they may just do that!James wrote:Lets hope Microsoft does not try anything stupid after the July 29 date like say upgrade you to Win10 and then say you owe $$$.
I've blocked the update on my home computer, a desktop that has Windows 7 on it.
And Windows 7 is supported until 2020.
But those sneaky &^%$* Microsoft people keep on trying to sneak in the upgrade with the security updates for Windows 7
I watch those updates very, very carefully.
My other home computer which is a netbook has Linux Mint on it and I can update my OS on that one when I want to.

That's probably spreading like wildfire around the internet.
I've dealt with clients who were upgraded without their permission and I was able to restore their computers to their original stable state before the unwanted upgrade to Windows 10.
Unfortunately, a lot of people aren't so lucky.
Maybe Microsoft is going to re-think the updating people to Windows 10 without their permission.
But, then again I'm holding my breath on that one.
