My previous laptop had a nice feature, that disabled the touchpad whenever a USB mouse was plugged in. My newest laptop does not, and I have installed Touchpad Pal for this purpose, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
Does anyone here use one of these that they could recommend? Free is great, but I would be willing to pay a bit for something like this.

You can always turn off touchpad in device manager, if your drivers don't have build in Synaptics controls.

I like having it when I take it out of the house, so I don't want to disable it entirely.
