Error Couldn't load XPCOM.
I used system restore to fix a problem I was having with MS Word and now when I try to open some programs I get that error and the program will not load. Can anyone help?

Re: Error Couldn't load XPCOM.
The problem above with XPCOM was solved but unfortunately I had Firefox pinned to the Task Bar and now when I restart the computer the firefox icon disappears from the task bar so I have to go the start menu and it is there, so I click the firefox icon on the start menu and then the firefox icon is back on the task bar fine until I restart the computer and then is gone again from the task bar

The task bar is Windows property... this may help you to configure the Windows Taskbar in Win10
